and Warm Welcome from Chitwan, Nepal !
We are happy to share some highlights from the past three months at our Foundation. It has been a joyful and meaningful time filled with learning, celebrations, creativity, friendship, and new beginnings.
A. Childrens Activities
Our Child 
Club continues to organize fun activities every weekend. The children enjoyed drawing, speech, quiz, spelling, and dance competitions, building their confidence and creativity.
In the Speech Competition on Bharatpur Metropolitan City, all the children participated enthusiastically, with Unika winning first place.

B.Festivals and Celebrations
Festivals and special occasions help children learn about our culture and traditions in a fun and meaningful way. We explain the importance of each celebration in a simple and engaging manner, helping children connect their learning with daily life.
During the past three months, the children celebrated Raksha Bandhan, Krishna Janmashtami, Teej, Father’s Day, and Vishwakarma Puja through activities, songs, dances, cards, and creative works.

C. Eye_checkup
As part of our regular health and well-being program, we arrange annual eye check-ups for the children.
This year, we had the opportunity to have the children’s eyes checked at their own school, which made the process convenient and comfortable for them. Most of the children were found to have good vision, while one or two children were identified as needing further attention and follow-up.
D. Fun Time and Learning
Along with meeting their daily needs, we also make time for the children to enjoy themselves and experience activities outside the compound. From time to time, we take them shopping for their personal necessities and allow them to choose and enjoy some of their favorite foods.
These outings provide the children with opportunities to learn practical shopping and money-management skills, such as making choices, comparing items, understanding prices, and handling purchases responsibly.
E. Senior Children Supporting
Our senior children regularly spend their free time with the younger children during their breaks and holidays. This provides a wonderful opportunity for them to share their knowledge, skills, and experiences with their younger siblings at the Home.
During this period, Ram Prasad spent time with the children and supported them in developing their skills in martial arts and football, as well as assisting them with their studies. We appreciate the willingness of our senior children to give their time, share what they have learned, and serve as positive role models for the younger children.
F. Learning By Doing
We believe “Learning by Doing” approach provides children with opportunities to develop new skills, confidence, teamwork, and independence through everyday activities.
The children regularly participate in activities such as cycling, swimming, and youth games. These activities help them stay physically active, develop coordination and discipline, and learn important values such as teamwork, cooperation, and perseverance.

G. Organic Farm and Kitchen Garden
We are proud to provide our children with fresh and nutritious food produced through our own farm and kitchen garden. We grow and produce a variety of organic vegetables, fruits, milk, and meat, helping to provide healthy and wholesome meals for the children.
This year, approximately 50% of the vegetables used in our kitchen were supplied by our own kitchen garden. This not only helps us provide fresh produce but also promotes self-sufficiency and encourages the children to appreciate the importance of farming, healthy eating, and caring for the environment. Also it give valuable opportunities to learn about agriculture and sustainable living.
H. New Children
As part of our ongoing practice, we support the reintegration and settlement of children who have completed their SEE or +2 education, while also welcoming new children from different parts of Nepal who are in need of care, protection, and educational support.
This time, we were pleased to welcome two new children from our local community, coming from two different families. Both families have faced significant challenges after their homes were destroyed by wild elephants. Tragically, in one family, a child lost both her mother and younger brother during this difficult experience.
The families are also facing significant economic hardship, making it difficult for them to meet the children’s educational and basic needs. We are grateful for the opportunity to welcome these two children, where they can receive a safe and caring environment, education, guidance, and the support they need to move forward with hope and confidence.
We warmly welcome our two new children and look forward to supporting them as they begin this new chapter of their lives with us.
