Namaste
Welcome Back!
Dear Friends, Supporters, and Well-Wishers,
Warm greetings from the NECO Foundation!
After a long gap, we are delighted to reconnect with you through this edition of our newsletter. We are grateful for your patience and continued support, which has encouraged us to continue our mission of serving children and strengthening our community.
The first six months of 2026 have been a period of meaningful progress, learning, and resilience. Despite the challenges along the way, our team, volunteers, and supporters have worked together to provide a safe, caring, and nurturing environment where every child can grow, learn, and thrive.
This newsletter captures the highlights of our journey from January to June 2026. Inside, you will find a short stories of our children's achievements, educational activities, health and wellness programs, celebrations, volunteer engagement, and the generous contributions and supporters who make our work possible.
Every milestone featured in these pages reflects the collective effort of people who believe that every child deserves love, dignity, opportunity, and hope. We sincerely thank everyone who has walked alongside us and contributed to making a positive difference in the lives of the children we serve.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to creating brighter futures through compassion, quality care, education, and community partnership. We hope this newsletter keeps you connected with our work and inspires you to continue this journey with us.
Thank you for being a valued member of the NECO Foundation family. Together, we are building brighter futures—one child, one opportunity, and one act of kindness at a time.
With gratitude,
The NECO Foundation Team
Celebrating Our Children's Academic Achievements
We are delighted to share the outstanding academic achievements of our children. They have successfully completed the 2025–2026 academic year, from UKG to Grade 12, and every child has been promoted to the next grade—a testament to their hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
We are especially proud to celebrate two remarkable milestones. Two of our young adults graduated with bachelor's degrees in Hotel Management and Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) from colleges in Kathmandu, Nepal. Their accomplishments reflect years of commitment and determination, and they serve as an inspiration to the younger children in our care.
These achievements mark important milestones in our children's educational journeys and bring them one step closer to realizing their dreams. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to every student and express our sincere appreciation to the teachers, caregivers, supporters, and well-wishers who have encouraged them along the way.
Congratulations to all our children! We wish them continued success, confidence, and happiness as they begin this exciting new chapter in their education.

Health Updates
We are pleased to share that Rubi and Ram have successfully undergone their surgeries. Rubi received leg surgery, while Ram underwent successful surgery to treat his jaw condition. Both are recovering well with the care and support of our team.
Ram will require additional hand surgeries in the future, and we remain hopeful for his continued treatment and recovery. We sincerely thank the doctors, medical staff, and everyone who has supported Rubi and Ram throughout their medical journey. We wish them both continued healing and good health.

Fun Outings
Our children enjoyed exciting outings to a skating park and Stone Park, where they had fun skating, playing games, exploring nature, and spending quality time with one another. These joyful experiences gave them an opportunity to relax, build friendships, and create lasting memories. Seeing their smiles and laughter made these outings truly special.

Holiday Art & Craft Activities

During the holidays, our children enjoyed creative art and craft activities, making colorful drawings, handmade decorations, and other fun projects. These activities encouraged creativity, developed new skills, and provided a joyful and meaningful way to spend their holiday. We are proud of their wonderful creations and sincerely grateful to their senior sister, Dikchya, for guiding and inspiring them throughout these activities.
Celebrations and Festive Moments

We joyfully celebrated our children’s birthdays with cake, laughter, and lots of happy moments, making it a truly special day filled with love and wonderful memories. We also celebrated festivals such as Holi, Shivaratri, and New Year with great joy and enthusiasm, creating moments of togetherness and happiness.
Happy Birthday to our amazing children! Wishing you all a bright and happy future ahead.
Condolence Notice
With deep sadness, we share the passing of the beloved wife of our respected Bill Uncle. Our children lit candles and offered prayers in her memory as a mark of respect and sympathy.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Bill Uncle and his family during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them, and we wish them strength, comfort, and peace.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
Farming Activities and Organic Living
Our home is actively engaged in farming activities, growing fresh organic vegetables and raising livestock for meat production. These efforts help provide healthy and nutritious food for our children.
Beyond supporting daily meals, the farm also serves as a practical learning space where children participate in hands-on field activities during their free time. Through this, they learn basic farming skills, teamwork, and the importance of sustainable living.
We are proud to see them learning by doing and gaining valuable experience that connects them with nature and promotes self-sufficiency.
Volunteer Service and Support
Over the past six months, we were fortunate to welcome four volunteers to our orphan home. They generously shared their time, skills, and care with our children.
During their visits, they supported various activities such as teaching, playing with the children, preparing delicious meals, and providing essential items. Their kindness and dedication brought joy and learning opportunities to our home.
We sincerely appreciate their valuable contribution and continued support in making a positive difference in the lives of our children.
Gratitude and Acknowledgements
At the end of this newsletter, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has directly and indirectly supported us throughout our journey.
We would especially like to thank our President Bishow Bhatta, Mr. Cyrus Pervini, Dr. Mahendra Shrestha, and Uncle Bill, as well as all our supporters who contributed to the successful treatment and care of Rubi and Ram.
We also sincerely appreciate their seniors, Bibash and Anusha, for kindly providing warm and beautiful clothes for their juniors.
Your continued support, kindness, and encouragement make a meaningful difference in the lives of our children. We remain deeply grateful for your commitment and generosity.
