Another month has passed, and so, we bring you an update on our adventures of late.

Even though February was the shortest month, lots of events took place. Children had a sport meet in the school. Many of them participated. They also took part dance on their School Anniversary. February had been busy for all.

CHILD OF THE MONTH

Bibash Ghale, who is 15, is from the remote area of Gorkha District. At present, he is studying in grade 8. He stays quite as compared to others. His father died in a road accident when he was 10. After his father’s death, his mother got in to lots of problems; social, mental, and economic problems. So, his neighbors brought him to NECO in 2010.

Bibas is fond of sports. He especially loves playing football and enjoys running a marathon. At his school's 2nd Marathon he won the third prize. He also enjoys playing basketball and table tennis with his friends. Similarly, he loves to play out, watch action and horror movies, and read story books. He is also good at Taekwondo and in the way of getting a black belt. Messi inspires him and when he grows up he wants to be a football player. He never misses to see Messi's game.

 

KIDS SCHOOL's ANNIVERSARY 

On February 25, the children’s School had an Anniversary. The school organized an event where cultural dance, drama, etc. were performed. Most of our children participated. We were very proud to see their performance.

GARDENING

Children love the garden that’s covered in green and with different flowers. In fact, they love gardening. Senior kids planted seasonal flowers and grass around the compound. New leaves and flowers can be seen on trees. In some years, some trees may provide seasonal fruits to the children.

This month, children were donated with watches, clothes, and sports equipment. Children were very happy to receive such generous gifts. Thank you all the donors and supporters. We would especially like to thank the Director Mr. Yazdani and his wife for providing watches, Director Mr. Safdar Ighanian, and his team for providing warm clothes, and the US Board for providing sports equipment.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

This month, we had an opportunity to celebrate a beautiful princess's birthday named Nishani with us. Much delicious cake was enjoyed, well wishes exchanged, played musical chair, and of course lots of singing. We wished and prayed her for the coming days.

We had birthday of 4 children-Dichya, Sneha, Ram Prasad and Dipa.Wishing a very Happy Birthday to you all.  We are blessed to have each one of you here, in our home.

We would also like to wish our loving NECO Foundation's director Karen  Herman a very Happy Birthday.

Happy birthday once again to All of you!
